Ann van Meyl was born in the Netherlands. The long time resident of London, Ontario is an innate Artist, accomplished in both oil and watercolour mediums.

Dubbed as London's best kept secret, van Meyl paints in a classical style - her paintings seem to glow with a radiant beauty which at times, dark and moody, at times, cheerful and bright. All are exquisitely rendered - they reach out, invariably involving the viewer. The wellspring of her art however is the overall revelation of beauty and harmony in all of nature.
